Covid 19 update on visiting arrangements – 06.03.21 – The Prime Minister’s announcement regarding care home visiting from April 12th 2021 onwards.

Following the Prime Minister’s announcement yesterday that the number of people allowed to visit a care home resident is now two, we await full guidance from our Local Authority before we can confirm how we will accommodate this change in procedure.

Please bear with us, as soon as we have all the necessary information and are able to make a plan we will be in touch to let you know.

Covid-19 update on visiting arrangements 10.02.21

Following on from a Health & Safety Risk Assessment, all our homes are offering window visits. Our homes remain closed to visitors, but on Tuesday’s, Wednesday’s, Thursday’s and Friday’s each week, you are able to book a window visit. These visits are by appointment only, can only accommodate two people at a time for a maximum of 30 minutes and, sadly do not include children. Please note this may be subject to change should any changes in Local Authority guidance be given. To arrange a visit please contact the home direct.

A message of thanks

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our staff, who are working tirelessly to keep our residents safe, well and entertained. We are doing our absolute best to keep our day to day routines normal and keep families in touch. I’d also like to thank our resident’s families and friends for their unwavering support during this unprecedented time. Your messages of support, appreciation and gifts really help to boost moral and make our staff feel valued. When this is all over, we will be having the biggest party and everyone of you will be invited.” – Jeanne Davies, managing director of L&M Healthcare.
