11 days until Hulton House opens in Preston

Just a few days left before Hulton House opens its doors to the public and we are all getting excited now!

The last few finishing touches to the interior design are being made and we have started the film and photography we’ll use on our website and other promotional material. Here we see home manager, Sharon Haydock Myers making her film career debut just as she was about to be filmed for the home manager’s video.

Sharon has been working in adult social care for over 24 years and has been managing and overseeing nursing homes for the past 11 years. She’s also a registered nurse with experience in both the NHS and private sectors. ‘ I feel privileged to be in charge of such a beautiful nursing home, it really is something to be proud of and I can’t wait to see people’s faces when they take a look around on the open day. ‘ Not only will this be beautiful to residents to live in, it will also be beautiful for staff to work in. People that have been shown around whilst attending interviews are amazed, they have never seen anything quite like it.’ said Sharon.

If you’d like to see Hulton House for yourself, why not come to our open day on Saturday 7th September 11.00am – 4.00pm. It will be opened at 11.00am by TV actor John Middleton, who played vicar Ashley Thomas in ITV’s Emmerdale. As well as a chance to look around, there’s also a FREE Alice in Wonderland themed afternoon tea, a jazz band, vintage swing dancers and face painting for children.

Hulton House can be found at Lightfoot Green Lane, Preston PR4 0AP, right next door to Preston Grasshoppers Rugby Football Club. It is built on land purchased from the club and was named after the first ever chairman and founding member, Frederik Campbell Hulton.
