Activities Survey Results
We recently ran a survey inviting people to give their thoughts on how important activities are in the daily life in our homes. 93 people responded, the results have now been analysed and are summarised. Click on the button below to view the results.
Your feedback has been extremely valuable to us and has been passed on to all our Home Managers. Soon you will see ‘You said, we did’ posters displayed in the reception areas in all our homes which will detail how we have responded to your feedback.

In April 2024, we increased our activities budget by 100%. From information gleamed from care home activities groups on social media, we believe we now have one of the largest activities budgets in any care home group in the UK.
We firmly believe that engaging our residents in meaningful activities is as essential as keeping them safe and well. Our ‘Whole home’ approach to meaningful activities, which encourages all staff to carry out meaningful activities with our residents, launched in May 2023. Since then we have been working with staff to ensure that they have the relevant equipment to carry out and understand how to set up the home environment to ensure meaningful activities are readily available throughout the day and night. Each staff member has also been issued with a detailed guide to understanding how to deliver meaningful activities with their residents.
