Design in Mental Health Awards 2021 – We are finalists!!

We are absolutely delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted in two categories at the Design in Mental Health Awards 2021.

Hulton House has been shortlisted as Project of the Year New Build and Whittle Hall has been shortlisted for their Activities Evaluation Study in the Clinical Team category.

The awards were entered at the end of 2019 and due to take place last year, but had to be postponed, like so many events, due to the Covid 19 Pandemic.  The ceremony during which the winners will be announced is to be held at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry on 24th August.

Both these projects have won several other awards over the last year. Hulton House received a High Commendation in Best New Care Home category at the Care Home Awards 2020 and The Activities Evaluation Study Team at Whittle Hall have been finalists in four other awards. It won Best for Food Nutrition and the Dining Experience category at the Care Home Awards 2020, Second Place at the British Nursing Journal Awards 2020 Innovation category, was a finalist at the Royal College of Nursing Awards 2020 Innovations in Your Specialty category where it received amazing feedback from the panel of judges and is also a finalist at the Great British Care Awards winners to yet be announced at a ceremony in July.

‘This is fantastic news’ said Jeanne Davies, Managing Director of L&M Healthcare.  ‘I am so very proud of the teams involved, it is wonderful that all the hard work and dedication is being recognised on a National level’.

We wish everyone involved the best of luck and would love to see you come home with a trophy.
