Finney House is rated GOOD after CQC inspection

L&M Healthcare are delighted to announce that the recent Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection has rated FINNEY HOUSE with an overall category of GOOD with all five categories inspected rated GOOD too.

The inspection which investigates whether a nursing home is safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led took place in September and was unannounced. It was conducted by three inspectors plus one specialist advisor for medicines management, one specialist advisor for dementia care and two Experts by Experience. An Expert by Experience is a person who has personal experience of using or caring for someone who uses this type of care service.

The CQC regulate both the premises and the care provided and both were looked at during this inspection. Information was also provided by the local safeguarding authority, L&M Healthcare themselves, service users and family members of service users too. The full report is available on the Finney House home page of the L&M Healthcare website and we are actively encouraging everyone to read it.
