Finney House staff wear PJ’s to work for Children in Need
Staff at Finney House paid £1.00 to wear PJ’s to work in order to raise money for BBC TV’s Children in Need charity. It was a fun way to capture our visitors attention and raise some money. Although there were some funny looks from passers by on the journey to and from work!!
It was a real fun day, activities coordinator Jen painted Pudsey’s eye patch on willing volunteers, we had a teddy bear raffle, a guess the weight of the Pudsey cake competition, a cake sale and a coffee morning. Residents and keen bakers Doreen Richardson, Edna Booth and Mary Jackson all helped with the baking too. The cakes looked absolutely fabulous ladies, well done to all involved you did Pudsey proud.
