L&M Healthcare appoint new Group Training Manager

L&M Healthcare are pleased to announce the appointment of Donna Miles as their new Group Training Manager.  The post, which has been specifically created, has the objective of bringing a fresh and innovative approach to training at all levels throughout the organisation.

Donna has an Msc in dementia studies and has written three co-authored publications based on her practice in the field. She prides herself on planning and delivering training that enables people living with dementia to flourish.  She has designed, implemented and facilitated a number of successful research projects which focus on innovation within dementia care and she has also developed a multi disciplinary framework and training model called ‘Never Ending Story’ which investigates reminiscence vs imaginary theatre and considers this method in an intergenerational context for dementia practices, particularly looking at Imagery Theatre, The Arts and Story Telling using both the power of the arts and the imagination to take people on a creative journey in order to embrace creative expression without pressure to remind them of a time gone by.

Donna who joins L&M Healthcare with a wealth of experience, has also undertaken partnership work with Liverpool Hope University and also lectured at Salford, Edgehill and Bangor Universities.
