L&M Healthcare homes pulled out all the stops to celebrate VE day for its residents

Staff dressed up in army uniforms and decorated everywhere with wartime memorabilia, gave wartime concerts and baked home baked cupcakes, it was a really enjoyable day to remember that filled all their homes with songs and laughter.

‘I’m so proud of those staff members who put in so much effort to make this day special for our residents,’ said Jeanne Davies, managing director of L&M Healthcare. ‘ I really enjoyed watching this happen via posts on our facebook pages through out the day.’

Residents loved the atmosphere and the opportunity to reminisce through stories and song and of course they also raised a toast.
