Covid 19 update on visiting arrangements – 22.02.21
The Prime Minister’s announcement regarding care home visiting from March 8th 2021 onwards.
On Saturday 20th February 2021 the Prime Minister made an announcement via the media that from March 8th onwards care homes would allow one regular visitor to meet indoors and hold hands if wearing appropriate PPE and having tested negative to a Covid 19 test. As yet, we haven’t received any official notification of this announcement, so we are unable to make any plans. We appreciate and fully understand that you will want to visit your loved one as soon as possible, so please bear with us. We are currently seeking Local Authority and Public Health England guidance and will write to all next of kin as soon as we are able to take the appropriate action.
Covid-19 update on visiting arrangements 10.02.21
Following on from a Health & Safety Risk Assessment, all our homes are offering window visits. Our homes remain closed to visitors, but on Tuesday’s, Wednesday’s, Thursday’s and Friday’s each week, you are able to book a window visit. These visits are by appointment only, can only accommodate two people at a time for a maximum of 30 minutes and, sadly do not include children. Please note this may be subject to change should any changes in Local Authority guidance be given. To arrange a visit please contact the home direct.
