Proms at Cherry Tree House
Well, the weather thwarted the venue, but it didn’t dampen our spirits and the Cherry Tree Proms in the Park event went ahead as planned just indoors instead of outside in the garden.
Music was performed by Scaramouche, who are studying at the Northern College of Music and we had a lovely afternoon tea. Lots of family and friends attended, we had face painting for the children, Tombola stalls and a raffle with first prize supplied by Titterton’s Butchers in Stockport who gave a large hamper of meats and sausage. In total £186.00 was raised which will go towards future activities.
