Roll up. Roll up… The circus is in Town
This afternoon’s entertainment at Cherry Tree House was Chris Bohan and his circus workshop. Chris first developed a fascination for circus tricks when he was given one as a Christmas present 30 years ago. He and his son spent the entire Christmas holiday trying to master it, they became hooked and have been doing them ever since.
He’s extremely passionate about his hobby and spends his spare time teaching anybody who’s interested, how to do it. He say it’s a fun activity for all age groups.
Chris believes you are never too old to learn new skills and its quite true, some of our residents found they were dab hands at it. Its an excellent way to get gentle exercise, maintain hand/eye coordination and have fun all at the same time.
