Second Place for Team Whittle at the BJN Awards 2020
It was a second place for Deborah and the Activities Evaluation Study Team at the British Journal of Nursing Awards tonight.
The team made it all the way to second place in the Innovation category for their study which looked in the effects just five minutes of activity, five minutes before a meal time could have on the health and well being of people living with dementia.
The award was presented by John Orchard, Chief Executive of the Cavell Nurses Trust from the comfort of his own home, in a virtual ceremony streamed live from the BJN website. The event was to have been held at The Glove theatre London, but due to Covid 19, the BJN decided to put on a virtual ceremony instead.
Well done all. What a marvellous achievement.
