Stockley Birds of Prey Centre visit Gainsborough House
Gainsborough House had a fascinating visit from falconer Pam Graham of Stockley Birds of Prey Centre in Warrington. Pam provided a personal encounter with two beautiful tame owls, a Snowy Owl called ‘Spike’ and a Tawny Owl called ‘Twiggy’. Their feathers were soft to touch and provided a sensory experience for everyone. Pam also taught us all about the owls diet and natural habitat. The feedback from this wonderful experience was fantastic and we can’t wait for a second visit towards the end of the year!
