It’s always interesting to hear why people chose a career in care. Often it’s because they had a family member who had a specific need but sometimes it’s just that they realise they are caring people who are ideally suited to it.
L&M Healthcare are a growing team of professionals – we are all here because we care. We care about our residents, and are here to provide expert care for them, but we also care about the care teams that look after them and want them to feel like they are part of our extended family.
Wendy Cann, a Healthcare Assistant at Whittle Hall in Warrington, had worked at Tesco for almost 16 years where as well as her day-to-day duties she had become the unofficial agony aunt. She fancied a career change, realised that she liked looking after people, joined L&M Healthcare and has never looked back.
