You can expect high standards from us

We have high values. We are a safe, effective, caring, responsive and well led organisation and our priority is your peace of mind and your loved one’s happiness; we aim to achieve this by providing a highly skilled, professional, general nursing and dementia care service.

Objectives

Our objective is to serve our local area with accessible, affordable and luxurious purpose-built care homes that look after the needs of those people who require specialist nursing care.

We aim to ensure that each one of our homes is a self-contained community based on our values, in which residents and staff alike are part of a mutually supportive family. Within this family, the health, happiness and well-being of every resident is of primary importance.

Each resident is treated as an individual and provided with a level of care that reflects their unique needs. Our knowledgeable and experienced care staff will undertake activities and programmes designed to stimulate and encourage each client so as to give them the very best quality of life.

Environment

Each of our nursing homes provides residents with the highest levels of care in a warm and comfortable environment that has been developed to the highest standards.

All residents have their own room with ensuite facilities, TV and comfortable furnishings – residents are encouraged to bring their own keepsakes with them to make their rooms reassuringly familiar and homely.

Our homes have many areas devoted to the physical and mental stimulation; these include cinemas, libraries, hair salons, lounges, activity centres, sensory rooms and gardens – all aimed at creating happy, fulfilled lives for residents.

Standards of excellence

Through our accumulated experience and expertise, we have earned a reputation for excellence in the provision of general nursing and dementia care that’s delivered with respect, compassion, dignity and choice.

To maintain and enhance our own standards, our directors and senior executive managers undertake regular walk-through inspections.

Our facilities are also regularly inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and all our CQC reports are available for your inspection upon request.

Your views matter

While our homes are regularly monitored we also encourage the opinions and input of residents and their families – and all observations will be gratefully received so that we can continue to enhance our standards and deliver ever better services to satisfy both our service-users and their loved ones. You can also read and write reviews on each of our homes on this website.

We hold regular residents’ forums at our homes – and both service-users and their families are warmly invited to attend. In addition, we conduct regular surveys amongst our residents and their relatives, with the results being published and freely available.

All new guests and their families are issued with a Service User Guide and Statement of Purpose, which together set out our operating standards and other important information. We actively encourage response to these documents so that we can consolidate our high standards of service provision.
