Whittle Hall plays Animal Bingo
Sometimes all the entertainment you need is right there in your own home. Activities coordinators Kath and Kuji played animal bingo with residents last Friday afternoon. It’s like bingo, but with animal pictures instead of numbers.
Residents Jane, Elaine, Mary (who is blind), Peggy and Eileen enjoyed matching sounds and pictures of animals to those on their cards and shouting house or bingo.
There was prizes of chocolate and toiletries up for grabs too, but Kuji had to check to make sure everyone wins a prize, it’s the rules!
Games like these make participation possible for those living with dementia and help to create moments of fun and happiness.
