Whittle Hall Study Team – The only non NHS team to make the finals at the RCNi Awards 2020

Whittle Hall Activities Evaluation Study team were finalists in the Innovation in your Speciality category at the Royal College of Nursing Awards last night. They didn’t come home the winners, but in the year of the nurse it was so meaningful for the team to reach the finals. What was quite amazing in itself though was that they were they only non NHS company to get there. So that was really quite something of an achievement too.

RCNi Awards 2020

The awards ceremony was held virtually via the RCNi website  and was presented by Dame Donna Kinnair RCN Chief Executive and general secretary and was dedicated to the many nurses who have lost their lives caring and protecting for patients during the Covid – 19  pandemic. The last three minutes of the awards showed the faces of just some of those nurses and was an emotional reminder of the sacrifices that have been made and, continue to be made, by many nurses on a daily basis.

Congratulations to all that took part and to those who won.
