About Cherry Tree House

Everything about Cherry Tree House is designed to create an atmosphere of home, warmth and care; and whilst it functions as an exceptionally well-run nursing home with room for 81 guests, it does so in the context of surroundings which do not look like your everyday care home.

Within a happy and cheerful environment, residents are looked after with exceptional one-to-one care, much of it based on stimulation of mind and memory, motor skills and physical activity, so as to bring out the best in each individual. For example, outside every guest’s room is a ‘Memory Box’, containing a collection of their photos, cards and memorabilia, so that staff, visitors and residents can dip into the box and use the material to encourage conversation and recollection with residents.

There is a ‘Sensory Hub’ at the heart of Cherry Tree House; this is a large and comfortable space which residents are encouraged to visit regularly for conversation with fellow guests, staff and visitors.

The care my father has received has been second to none. I cannot thank you enough for the work you do. You are a shining example of how a nursing home should be run.
Yes this home is like a 5* Hotel and the care is also 5*, my mum was in here for respite and the care she received was wonderful.
