National Activity Team Of The Year Finalists!
Kitwood House’s Pink Ladies been named a finalist at the 2027 National Activity Awards
We are thrilled to share some wonderful news: Kitwood House’s fantastic Wellbeing Team, affectionately known as the ‘Pink Ladies,’ has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Activity Team of the Year category at the 2027 National Activity Awards.
This is a truly prestigious achievement. The awards are hosted by NAPA, the UK’s professional body for activity providers and activity provision, championing meaningful engagement, activity and wellbeing for people receiving care. NAPA has supported and celebrated activity provision since 1997, and its awards recognise innovation, creativity and excellence across the care sector.
To be selected as a finalist places the ‘Pink Ladies’ among the very best activity teams in the country. Their nomination stood out for its dedication, passion and positive impact, even in a year when the standard of entries was exceptionally high. Reaching this stage is a fantastic recognition of the creativity, care and commitment they bring to residents, colleagues and the wider community every day.

The team took part in an online finalist interview on Tuesday 15 September 2026, as part of the final judging process. The winners will be announced at the black-tie National Activity Awards ceremony on Friday 22 January 2027 at Hunton Park Hotel, Hertfordshire. The evening will include a drinks reception, dinner, live entertainment and the awards presentation, making it a very special celebration for finalists, colleagues, friends and family.
Earlier that day, NAPA will also host the 2027 National Activity Conference: The Great Outdoors, bringing together activity providers, care professionals and sector leaders for a day of learning, ideas and connection before the awards celebrations begin.

They are truly outstanding.
They also sprinkle their magic on other homes as all new team members undergo shadow shifts with them as part of their induction to L&M Healthcare.
