Rotary Club of Northwich Names Kitwood House as President’s Charity of Choice in Three-Year Partnership with L&M Healthcare
The Rotary Club of Northwich and L&M Healthcare are pleased to announce a new three-year charitable partnership that will see Kitwood House, L&M Healthcare’s dementia care residence in Rudheath, named as the President’s Charity of Choice for the Rotary Club of Northwich.
Under the nomination, the Rotary Club of Northwich will make up to £2,000 available in each of the next three Rotary years — 2026–27, 2027–28 and 2028–29 — to support the cost of hiring a coach for a day trip for residents of Kitwood House. The funding is intended to help residents enjoy meaningful days out together, strengthening community connections and building on the positive impact already achieved through Rotary support.
Deborah Egerton, President of the Rotary Club of Northwich, said: “It is my pleasure to nominate Kitwood House as my President’s Charity of Choice for the Rotary Club of Northwich. I was especially touched by the presentation given to the club about the wonderful difference Rotary funding has already made. I would love to continue and build on that relationship, helping to give residents opportunities for enjoyable days out together.”
She added: “For each of the next three Rotary years, from July to June, the Rotary Club of Northwich will make up to £2,000 available towards the cost of hiring a coach for a day trip for Kitwood House residents. I look forward to working with the Kitwood House team over the coming years.”
