Animal Assisted Therapy

Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) is provided on a monthly basis in all homes, and weekly in some homes.

Weekly AAT visits are usually provided by Pets as Therapy Dogs. These dogs have been specially selected for their gentle nature and are highly trained.

We have a number of AAT providers with whom we have an arrangement to deliver monthly sessions which include a range of reptiles, domestic pets, and small farm animals. We also have several other visits on an ad hoc basis throughout the year such as Therapy Ponies, Llamas, and Owls.

Don’t worry, if creepy crawlies is not to your loved ones liking, we have plenty of alternatives for them to handle.
