About Us

L&M Healthcare is a family run care home group. We specialise in complex nursing care and operate five accessible, affordable, and beautifully appointed purpose built care homes in the North West of England. Gainsborough House and Whittle Hall are both located in Warrington, Hulton House in Preston, Cherry Tree House in Stockport and Kitwood House in Rudheath, Cheshire.

We provide Dementia Nursing, Complex Dementia (CBDU) and Complex Care (Acquired Brain Injury and Mental Health care.)

All of our homes provide person-centred care, based on the dementia care model first established by Professor Tom Kitwood of Bradford University. They are award winning; purpose built, and bespoke designed based on design recommendations from the Dementia Services Development Centre at the University of Stirling.

We aim to ensure that each one of our homes have self-contained communities based on our values, in which residents and team members alike are part of a mutually supportive family. Within this family, the safety, health, happiness, and well-being of every resident is of primary importance.
